Once I made a mold of the radiator in Copenhagen, only with my body.
This mold has been in my bodily memory ever since, similar to those corresponding body parts from earlier down the road.
Sometimes I find my way back to the same position, without the radiator, and it still feels like it’s there.
I would like you to think of your body as a mold.
Find that deep relaxed breath you started this journey with.
Then bring some part of your body in contact with some thing in the space. Corners, furniture, details, anything works.
Take your time while merging into and being molded by this meeting of surfaces….
(closing your eyes helps)
…until you feel like it has made an imprint that you can bring with you in your bodily memory.
.
.
.
Take a few steps away from the surface and re-visit the imprint without the presence of what was there.
To make sure it’s still there with you.
